Here's a commission I did for an old (and very patient) friend. A "self portrait" as he put it. It was traced in Illustrator from a photo. This is me experimenting with color some more, as I have been lately. Gotta climb that mountain sooner or later. The photo was extremely lo-res and had no shadows, so I found myself at a loss for detail to put in the face. I compensated by making the face invisible, and letting the background show through it. The client requested different colors for the where the purple lines and hair and red shirt are, but I like my original colors so that's what I'm showing here. I'm a spoiled baby like that.

This portraits done in a very cool style. The minimalistic approach, but we clearly see the face. And I'm glad you posted your original color scheme! Ya stubborn b*st*rd!!!
